We have a little baby sister. Well, she is 14. But there is a 22 years difference between her and me, with the smallest difference of 18 years between her and our brother. She is our youngest sibling. Having different dads makes no diffidence to us older siblings. If she was with us while we were growing up, we probably wouldn’t have the relationship that we have now. We have learnt from our mistakes. We are different with our youngest sibling. She benefits from our lessons learnt.
We have our own lives which we need to shape now. Even so, we also keep an watchful eye to make sure she doesn’t feel alone or lost for too long. No matter how far we are.
So here’s to you, our youngest sibling. It is because we care that we will always be there to guide you through your journey. Even if and when you just say “I don’t know”, “Just”, “Stuff” or even shrug your shoulders, in our own way, we will still care.
If it makes you feel better, to not miss out on growing up with us, we can still just take turns in picking on you.
:-P
